Family Case Manager
EOCP
is searching for an energetic case manager at Matilda
Cleveland,
one of our transitional housing sites. The successful
individual will function as part of a dynamic team
engaged in creating an
array of supportive services to assist families
in achieving independence. Program services include
case management, educational and employment development,
life skills training, and mental health and substance
abuse counseling. The case manager assesses resident
needs, coordinates appropriate services and offers
ongoing support to enable residents to successfully
complete an individual service plan. This position
requires excellent organizational, communication
and computer skills plus a flexible schedule with
evening and weekend hours.
The family case manager
position pays $32,000-$35,000/year DOE plus benefits.
Prefer 3-5 years experience. BA required. MA preferred.
We are looking for a person with a passion for
helping homeless people. You must have good time
management and organizational skills, a professional
approach, ability to work with a team, and good
verbal and written communication ability. You need
to be computer literate. An ability to speak Spanish
is an asset. This position has an alternative schedule
requiring some evening work. We would like to start
the new hire ASAP.

On-call Residential Advisors
EOCP is hiring on-call residential advisors. A high school diploma
is required; experience working with the homeless
is preferred. This position will answer the front
office phone, assist residents with daily tasks,
ensure compliance with shelter rules, and handle
crises appropriately as they arise. EOCP operates
24 hours per day, 7 days per week, so the schedule
varies on an as-needed basis.
On-call Youth Advisors
EOCP is seeking on-call
youth advisors for three different shifts to help
ensure that youth in our transitional home are
safe and the house is secure. The youth advisors
must model and promote positive resident interactions
and a healthy living environment and be able to
respond appropriately to emergencies. Each position
demands a high energy, positive, mature adult who
is nurturing toward young adults in the process
of gaining life coping skills to overcome homelessness.
Other tasks include completing logs and other paperwork.
8:00
pm to 12:00 am Shift
The youth advisor for
this shift offers support and provides life skills,
assists residents in completing housing and employment
applications, tutors and/or supervises volunteers
to help residents with homework and academic assignments.
Qualifications include a BA and 3 years experience
or equivalent in education and experience assisting
homeless or low income young adults and working
in a supportive housing setting.
Overnight,
12:00 am to 8:30 am Shift
This is a sleep-in position
requiring alertness and strong communication and
conflict resolution skills. Qualifications include
a high school diploma and 2 years experience assisting
homeless or low income young adults and working
in a supportive housing setting.
4:00
pm to 8:00 pm Shift
The youth advisor for
this shift promotes improved basic living skills
by assisting residents with house cleaning and
maintenance, daily menu planning and preparation,
and chores. Qualifications include a high school
diploma and 3 years experience working with young
adults with multiple issues.
